Vision

Avnee — The Infrastructure of Trust

Building the Trust Layer of India’s Digital Economy

Avnee was founded on a simple but powerful belief — trust is the real currency of business. For decades, India’s micro and small enterprises have powered the economy but remained invisible to formal systems. They work hard, record diligently, and deliver reliably — yet, their business data stays trapped in notebooks, WhatsApp chats, and isolated spreadsheets. Without verified records, these enterprises are unseen by banks, uninsured by providers, and excluded from digital opportunity. Avnee exists to change that. We’re building the trust infrastructure that allows every enterprise — no matter how small — to be visible, verifiable, and financially connected.

Our Vision

Just as UPI revolutionized money movement, Avnee revolutionizes business data movement.

To transform India’s fragmented business landscape into a connected network of verified, trusted entities, where business data flows as freely and securely as digital payments do today. By enabling verified identities, interoperable records, and algorithmic reputation, Avnee turns everyday business activity into digital proof of trust — proof that banks, insurers, and customers can rely on.

Our Mission

Avnee bridges the gap between informal business activity and formal financial inclusion.

  • Digitize micro-enterprises through simple, affordable tools.
  • Connect businesses through verified digital identities.
  • Empower them with visibility and trust metrics.
  • Enable banks, insurers, and governments to reach them at scale.

Our Role in India’s Digital Public Infrastructure

Together, they form the foundation of India’s trust-based digital economy.

Avnee complements India’s existing digital stack:

  • Aadhaar and PAN - Digital identity - Verifies Individuals and Businesses
  • UPI - Instant payments - Connects trusted payment records
  • ONDC - Open commerce - Extends trust to post-sale transactions
  • Account Aggregator (AA) - Data consent framework - Enables verified record sharing
  • Avnee - Trusted Entities Network - Connects verified entities through shared, auditable data

The Outcome

When every business record is verified, every transaction is transparent, and every actor has a measurable reputation — trust becomes programmable, scalable, and universal.

Avnee’s long-term vision is to build the “Bharat Interface for Trusted Entities (BITE) ” for India’s enterprises — an open, interoperable system that connects people, businesses, and institutions through verified digital interactions.

Architecture

How Avnee Works

Avnee combines the structure of an ERP, the connectivity of social networks, and the security of digital public infrastructure. It’s a networked ERP system where records move across verified entities instead of staying siloed.

  1. Identity and Verification Layer

Every user and business undergoes KYC verification using PAN, Aadhaar, and registration documents. Upon verification, they receive a unique Avnee ID — a trusted digital identity that links all activities across the network. This ensures that every transaction and shared record originates from a verified entity. Purpose: Establish trust at the source.

  2. Network Graph Layer

Businesses can connect with users or other businesses by Avnee ID or verified invitation. Each connection is tagged with a relationship type — Customer, Supplier, Employee, Investor, etc. Users within businesses have roles and permissions, defining what they can view, edit, or share. Purpose: Build a real-world economic graph of verified relationships.

  3. Record Layer

Each business transaction — invoices, purchase orders, HR documents, contracts — is stored as a record object. Records can be shared across entities securely and instantly, with access levels (View, Edit, Share). Every record maintains a complete audit trail: user, timestamp, action, before and after state. Purpose: Create a single source of truth for every shared business record.

  4. Workflow and Automation Layer

Every object in Avnee is workflow-enabled. Actions (create, update, share, delete) can trigger automated responses — such as notifications, new records, or API calls. Businesses can enable or disable workflows to fit their operations. Purpose: Automate repetitive processes and create intelligent business flows.

  5. Intelligence Engine

Analyzes user and business activity to uncover trends and patterns. Provides predictive insights and recommendations (e.g., partner reliability, upcoming payments). Continuously refines trust metrics based on performance data. Purpose: Transform raw records into actionable intelligence.

  6. Trust and Reputation Engine

Calculates Trust Scores for users and businesses based on measurable behavior: Reliability Timeliness Consistency Transparency Peer Feedback Scores range from 1 to 5 and evolve over time as entities interact.h These metrics become digital reputation credentials, verifiable by external institutions. Purpose: Quantify trust to unlock credit, insurance, and growth.

  7. BITE — Bharat Interface for Trusted Entities

BITE is the API framework that connects Avnee to external ecosystems. It allows banks, insurers, fintechs, and government agencies to access verified data streams (with consent). Core Capabilities:

  • Data exchange and authentication APIs.
  • Digital signatures and hash validation.
  • Cross-platform interoperability.
  • Verified record sharing for finance, insurance, and compliance.
  • Purpose: Enable interoperability and public-private collaboration.

The Architecture’s Core Principles

  1. Verification First — Every node in the system is verified, every record traceable.
  2. Privacy by Design — Users own their data; sharing is consent-based and auditable.
  3. Interoperability by Default — Built on open APIs compatible with India’s DPI ecosystem.
  4. Scalability through Networks — Every new user or business expands the trusted data graph.
  5. Trust as Utility — Trust is measurable, transferable, and accessible across institutions.
